Entrant may submit more than one entry in any category up to a maximum of 5 entries. |

A project may be entered only once in any category. However, it may be entered in a different category in a future year if relevant. |
| 3. |
Projects that have previously received an award from another organisation are eligible to apply. |
| 4. |
The competition is open to applicants who may be individuals, companies, organisations, governmental bodies, or any combination of the above, whether or not the organisation is a member of IWA. |

Projects entered must focus on water supply and/or- sanitation and wastewater in low and middle income countries. | 6. |
The work entered must have been completed to such an extent that the performance can be assessed by the primary beneficiaries before 1 January 2011. The work must not have been completed before 1 July 2009. |

Each entry must comprise of:
- An official entry form
- Zip file containing the relevant submission materials
- PowerPoint presentation
- Entry fee

Winners and Honour Awardees will be expected to produce a laminated poster panel (80cm (W) X 120cm (H)) for display at the IWA Development Congress. |

Entry materials become the property of IWA to use as it judges appropriate. |
| 10. |
The IWA Project Innovation Awards - Development Committee reserves the right to determine the eligibility, category and regional classification for all entries. |
